I have been rolling my own smokes to save money for the past two months. The cashier at the tobacco shop told me the ONLY difference between cigarette tobacco and pipe tobacco is price. Last night I was taken to the hospital for carbon monoxide poisoning. my house was tested by the fire dept and no carbon monoxide was found. The firemen and the Doctor at the ER said that carbon monoxide in pipe tobacco is double that in cigarette tobacco and pipe tobacco is not supposed to be inhailed. who knew? We all know that cigarettes contain carbon monoxide but I didnt know you could get carbon monoxide poison from smoking.

Oh my, I hope you are feeling better. I am so happy that I quit smoking several years ago. I will never smoke again. I hope you can quit, its horrible to your body. I had always wondered why people didn't inhale when they smoked a pipe, now I know.

I plan to go back and educate the lady at the smoke shop on the difference since I have done alot of research now. not that I think it will matter. hopefully this post will alert other smokers trying to save money. thanks I am feeling much better now.
