The consequence of the detention in Britain of Julian Assange, founder of the anti-secrecy organization, WikiLeaks has revealed the fact to the whole world that none on this planet is exempted from the nasty hands of the hackers. As a result, a small fry like me is totally helpless and feels unsecure. What is your opinion?

I do not think you need to be afraid, Hackers are people who are good in tech but just chose to be in the dark side ( like that star wars movie) but there are also people who are just as good and opts to use their talent more productively like developing new anti virus or malware soft ware and other products that protects us, it's like an arms race or a battle between good and evil. Hope we just go on our daily routine but at the same time be safety consious without without being paranoid.

I think it's as impossible and absurd as saying everybody will be good, and the whole world will be safe all the time for everybody

I don't see the problem here. If you gonna hurt people you will be exposed. Get over it.

Hackers? I see none. You mean those people who took down visa and mastercard? They are definitely not hackers they are people like you and me who use Low Orbit Ion Cannon to send as many requests to servers as possible.

I have actually thought that to be the case for quite a long time, I really don't think that we needed someone to reveal to us that there is no one that is exempt from the danger of computer hackers. That said, it is also not something that I let worry me too often because of the fact that I know that there is nothing that I am putting myself in danger over for my usage of the internet. Therefore, though it is a fact, it really doesn't change the way that I look at things.

I don't think about that. But I think Hackers has en extra ordinary merit also. Which don't have the common people.
