Computer Automatic restart.

help me guys i dont know what i do. the computer of my friend have a problem after i open the computer the OS will automatic restart. i want to format it but he told me that he dont want to delete all files of her computer. i dont know what i do. just format is my only way to resolve it. but he dont ant to format it. do you think it has other way to resolve this problem?

Try opting for the "Last known good configuration" option. this solved my problem once. if it still doesnt work then you can go for reinstalling the windows without formatting it i.e if you dont want to get your files deleted. however the files in my document and desktop will be deleted.....can't help it. hope this helps. all the best ;)

i just this but it doesn't effect after i choose the "Last Known Good Configuration it will restart it again." thamnk you for your concern happy mylotting.

Backup all the necessary files. Ask your friend to created one folder.This will serves as your reference in backing-up. So you will not delete her important files.

maybe you could try to have the power change ,I think ,it sounds like the power didn't supply the enough voltage ,and another reason is that your fan of the cpu is too dirty to make the cpu be enough cool.but i konw that if the cpu is too hot ,the pc will show blue screen,but I think you try to clean that fan .
