I've never read a comic book before. All I know is the comics strips in the daily newspaper. Reading is quite not my interest. I seldom see people reading comic books nowadays. But I often see television shows that features comic books to be read again. Some are collecting these. I'm just felt curious about it.

Mangas are also comic books but I believe you mean american comic books such as DC and Marvel? If I am right, then you would never see people reading comic books in malls and other public places. Comic book readers know the value of a good condition comics and if they follow a series they want to keep their comics in pristine condition so as not to devalue the same. I believe it is still popular though marvel probably make more in the movie houses than the printing press.

Definitely, there are a lot of comic book collectors. And there's the new trend of drawing comics called 'manga' in Japan. I read stuffs like that. And for the classic comics like peanuts, I read them in Sunday Newspapers. They're still amusing.

Yeah, it's actually really rare for people to go around reading comic books now. Like the above poster stated, it's more of a collection thing now. People would buy them, read them and then safely place them back in their plastic case to keep them in good condition. Afterall, some of these can be worth a lot in the future. I don't read American comics but I'm a collector of manga (Japanese comic books).

Hello Blacksun310! I think nowadays, comic books are no longer an "in" thing, it's more of a collector's item already. We have Internet now so most of the comics are now converted online like the "Manga" from Japan. Cheers!
