Thank goodness it has been a long time since something like this has happened to me. However, it is something that we experienced when I was pregnant with my son for many weeks on end. Our IP provider was having statewide problems and there would be some times that I could access with no problems and there were other times that I wasn't able to access at all, it was very distressing to me. Luckily, I did have internet access at work.

hi dora,
what i find very irritating is these things happen when you least expect it: no announcements, i lose my work. very depressing.
service provider should automatically deduct their flaws from the bills.
they should not rely on complaints, but on the service they provide. if they have not, cannot, can provide but has to be after 2 hours, ... thats being honest.
have a nice day.

hi neshrie,
thank you for joining the discussion. its good you have not experienced those because it really is going to be very irritating especially if you are doing something that has time limit.
keep responding and make your responses a little longer.
have a nice day.

hi LK,
what makes intermittent internet signal more irritating is the work gets lost because you dont get the time to save it.
hope we could avoid those situations.
have a nice day.

I find this scenario irritating. My advise is. Report this to you DSL provider. And don't forget to get a trouble ticket or reference number from your reported problem. Always asked them about the ETA. ( estimated time of accomplishment). Take down notes all the tickets and later on. All this ticket will serves you to avail REBATES for your monthly billing to them.
We avail rebates on our cable and also in DSL.

dear syoti,
it really is very irritating. i have been experiencing this sometimes 3 to 4 times a month. i go get the reference number of the complaint but i didnt know it was that important because after the complaint is addressed, i just throw it.
now i know what to do with it.
thank you so much for your input.
have a very nice day.

hi kal,
that is just what i am saying in my previous comments. what makes it irritating is when you are doing something and is lost without being saved.
i hope this situation doesnt come too often. we dont have control over it and that is what makes it so depressing.
thank you for your responses. have a very nice day.
