New Years' Eve Party

I'm looking for suggestions on a low-key New Years' Eve party. This will be my very first one,, and it'll be alchohol-free, just like any of my parties are. My kids will most likely be gone to bed by ten or so, and we live in a flat - actually it's a highrise apartment building. Just looking for suggestions, and if you have any traditions that you guys do, please share, because they'll be good ideas, for sure. I know in my 1st foster home, we had this great big roast beef dinner with Yorkshire Pudding and the whole works, LOL too much ha ha. My 2nd foster home did a fondue but we don't have a fondue set, and I don't think Hubby ever had any fondues before. They are quite lovely, but very messy. Thanks in advance, guys!
