I recently lost my USB in the mall. Unfortunately, this is not the first time I did lost one (I also lost my previous one at the same mall). Fortunately , I don't have much or important files on it but I have to recreate some of the files for posting and distribution. I usually buy USB with small spaces to reduce damage and number of files that I might lose. Apart from myself, I also heard stories from my colleagues and friends that they lost theirs in shops, offices and even in their own homes. A friend of mine lost hers in a laundry shop. How many USB drives have you lost? Do you lost some important files because of that incident?

I haven't lost any USB's. I think it would be easier to lose a USB for a phone rather than a USB for a computer. I wonder why your friend took her USB to the laundry mat?

I've lost a few over the years. I have a habit of misplacing them. The good thing is I know that I lost them inside my house. So, maybe I'll eventually find it one day. I do it so much that I've started to buy bright color ones that are easier to spot and I've also hooked them onto my keychain. I haven't really lost any important files. I did lose some music and pictures on one of them. It was a hassle to get them again but it was no big deal.

Greetings I have lost only one USB so far. There was nothing important in it so, it isn't really that bad. I usually have a back for these files before they go to the USB. I lost mine in a network cafe. I forgot to unplug it after having homeworks printed.

I haven't lost a single usb yet, and I hope it won't ever happen. What usually happens is "my files are always lost". Well, its not the fault of the usb but the virus in one of the notebooks I'm using. Losing all your files/contents is also comparable to losing your usb.=(

Maybe you have to buy USB that can remote from far or having alarm. My experience is my flash disk was broken and cannot be used again, so I use external hardisk to save my files.

Happens a lot in reality. At the library there are several USB that have been lost and are recovered, but about 70% never show back up.

No I have never lost my USB all this time. I don't actually use one usually because I don't like carrying with me even though it is very small size. I use an external hard drive to save my files but I leave it at home whenever I go out. It is good to hear that you do not store any important files in your USB because it could be quite dangerous when you lose it and someone who is bad found it. Have a nice day

my brother bought me a creative USB and has a 16 gig capacity. I really love this usb because this is my gift from him from singapore. this device is very important to me because there are some files in it that I dont want to lose. one day my friend want to borrow that device for him to save some of the files he needed in school. I am very gallant to let him borrow it. unfortunately when he get home he just told me that it is lost already. I have nothing to do but to be silent and just ask him on what he would do now and tell him how important that device to me. he told me to replace it when he have money. unfortunately till now after a 3 years of waiting I think he already forgot it. I am just speechless about it and not to worry any more, its up to him now to replace it or not. I just give it up to the Lord on what it could happen next if he will replace it or not. whew, anyway I just forget it. this is better than to ask him again and again. were close friend till now. this is just an incident and maybe there is a bigger replacement the Lord will give me in the future. right my friend?

I've never lost a USB. Though, often times I forget to unplug it after I used it and that can be a real pain if you are using a public computer haha. Anyhow, I think that if you stick it into your keychain, you might never lose it again.

Nope, I've not lost any USBs to date. In my room, there are 5 USBs. One for each purpose. Those were accumulated when I was in high school. I seldom use USBs so they don't get lost.

I haven't lost any USB drives.. and what is good with my work (managing our internet cafe) sometimes is that I always find usb which customers forgot to take out from the cpu. Others will go back for it and some will not. :)

I lost one 4-Gb and 8-Gb USB Flash with my wallet, cash, credit cards, ATM and other stuff in the fire at my office just last a year ago. All important personal files were there and some office projects for future references.

Me, I'm not losing any USB yet. Instead I'm damaging them. I already crashed 3 USB. I love bringing my USB anywhere and uploading bunch of files. My first USB was crushed by me by accident. I put down my heavy school bag on the table. I didn't noticed that my USB was there. It has 4 gigabytes capacity. My second damage were caused by a virus. I download a file that contain deadly virus. I forgot what it is. The next day I can't use it any more! Crap! The same thing happened to my third USB. From now on, I started avoiding USB disks. I'm just sticking with online gaming.
