finding the best portable hard drive

Hi My lotters, I'm planning to buy a brand new portable hard disk drives. What factors should I look for? As for me... i want it stylish.. durable coz i'm always travelling Give me some tips on how to choose the best portable hard drive for me.

you should look for the speed of hard drive first how fast it can send and recive data speed helps in copying and moving files fast. second you should see its physical body.it should be damged in small jerks made accidently. other than these you should go for style and other things but these two are recommended. you should always check it for.

yup.. thanks bro.. i'm looking for 7200 rpm for the speed.. also i want it have an anti-shock feature so that even if i bring it everyday and placed it in my backpack..my data is always secure..

Well I suggest you go for brand one.. if possible WD or Transcend.. both are good as far me and my friends are using.. local or cheap hdd can loose data sometimes and declined to be identified. :-(
