Do you think those who using an avatar as an dishonest profile users?

I have my own picture as my avatar. It came out very yellow because I took it when the sun was shining very brightly and now I have my hat on because it is winter and quite cold I don't think anything about those users who do not have their own photo because how are we able to know whether it is them or not from just looking at their photo? I get to know them through what they write

Of course not. That would be prejudice. There have been times when I have not used a real photograph simply because I didn't like any of the current pictures I have of myself. And sometimes, it is fun to see the different avatars that people use. It has nothing to do be dishonest. Though, I do know there are personalities on the site that are pretending to be what they are not, i.e...mixing up their identities. It's just not worth being concerned about.

Of course not, people like to use avatars because they are interested in that character or that particular avatar. It does not mean they are dishonest. That doesn't mean that some folks can be dishonest.

Hello friend, i don't think that having avatar is dishonest. I like the avatars, it's nice. And everyone of us decide what kind of avatar to pick for himself. Where do you know that some guys are using pictures of women? How can you be sure of that? I think that you just guess, but you don't need to start your membership here with angriness, believe me. Here is a place where we all got fun and enjoy talking to each other.

Dishonest yes. However, if we think again, it is their freedom to choose the avatar. Morally I would say it is wrong but legally, it is correct :) Tough call!

Not at all. Some people care about their privacy (like me). Others might just not feel comfortable with the way they look. There could be a lot of reasons some people don't like to use real pictures or put real pictures of themselves on the internet.

No, I don't feel like that. Using an avatar is really cool. Some user's have avatar's which are really funny and are very good. I seriously like avatar's a lot. And you are also right, I have seen in many sites that people keep Images of Females who are very sexy to grab attention. I hate those kind of people. My Picture is of a Bollywood star but I Don't think I have done anything wrong. As It is the picture of my favorite star.

Hmmm I also do put an avatar in my profile picture but it is just for fun and it does not mean anything to me. It is just to make my profile more colourful and does not really matter if people know whether I'm a woman or a men. Most important is the honestly of my post and also my responds to other people discussion LOL. Have a nice day

I have noticed some users with some attractive pictures and I don't think of them as dishonest people if they are fake pics or not it doesn't really bother me. As you can tell a lot but how they talk/write to other people, you can tell who is honest and who it isn't. I have see people saying that they are female and on the next post they are a male; those are the dishonest people. Pay attention and you will spot them, their avatars have nothing to do with it, at least not to me.

I shared my dark secrets here in mylot and its too risky to show my face here, I was public at Facebook, Myspace and Youtube but I want privacy here in mylot. I have a very clean image in youtube, I dont want my opinions in mylot to ruin it.
