black eye / eye bruise quick remedy?

i just got a small bruise on my eyelids, it's bluish, like a black eye. i used ice already, but the bruise is still there, what should i do so that i wiill dissappear quickly. i got it because of a sports injury, i got hitted by a volleyball in the head near the eye area while i was playing basketball in the school gym.. the ball was so fast...

I put sliced cucumber on bruises to get them to fade quickly. It's the same thing I do to help clear up my undereye dark circles. It might sound weird, but I think it's pretty effective. While you wait for it to fade, you can use a little bit of concealer to keep it from looking so obvious.
