No new cap, doesn't match criteria

I have been searching for a new cap for a few weeks now. The 2 black ones that i had are lost and i only posses a yellow one, which my girlfriend hates so i really am in need of a new one, but the stuff out there that i found so far just won't cut it.
I am not into the new trends, i just want a plain one, with a dark color, black or dark blue or something similar, with a good material that protects from frost - i found only those modern type that are pretty crappy if you ask me.
As a side note, related to the question i will ask, i also don't like t-shirt that come into my neck - it makes me feel like i can't breathe.
Do you have specific criteria under which you won't drop unless you have no other item of the type when shopping ?

I feel the same as you about necklines, I hate them touching or close to my neck! I can tolerate a scarf to keep my neck warm but not a collar!
Tell her if she can't tolerate the yellow one she'll have to make you one herself. You have to keep warm. Besides, the color will allow her to find you in a crowd! 
You can always dye it, can't you? Or borrow one of her hats until she gives in!

Hello my dear dragon.
She actually suggested me burrowing one from her which i actually did, but it's not to thick so i can't expect to wear it when it's colder outside.
The yellow one was as a backup, the ones i used were those 2 black ones, but they are both lost - one i know for sure i lost and the other one is not anywhere to be found

I can understand that there are certain things you like in a certain way and sometimes they are hard to find which can be very frustrating! I am like that in regards to handbags and purses; they have to be of a certain shape and with so many compartments and not always available. I have been known to take months to find the right bag but the way I see it, why settle?
