Rating greater than 500 to paste

Hello,
So basically when you want to paste into myLot you need to have a "rating" higher than 500, is that basically just your post count? Am I missing something?
Sorry if this is stated obvious somewhere in the FAQ or any other section, I couldn't find it so I thought I'd ask you guys.

Not ratings but you need to have comment on at least 500 discussions to use the copy and paste method. I'm not sure where you find the information but I don't really know why you need to copy and paste anyway....

Just wanted to know if I am going to need 500 posts or if there is some sort of rating system that I need to be aware of. Thanks for sharing your information with me, I really love this community!
