Two weeks and two mindless sackings of coaches. First Newcastle shockingly sacked Hughton and now Blackburn sacked Sam Allardyce. With both clubs sitting in decent mid table comfort this was something that came as a shock to both the coaches as well. What are your views on these sackings? Cheers! Ram

im also a diehard rovers fan and have supported them for years, what is going on with our team is tragic big Sam should have never sacked. Steve Kean has replaced big sam and the team has been in decline eversince.

There should be a rule that a team should finish the season with the squad and coach they had at the start of the competition, without being able to get others, only if they wouldn't do their job.(like skipping trainings and stuff like that) How can you make a conclusion about a trainers work, if you don't let him finish the job? I will never understand this, but there are too many people in football which are totally strangers from the phenomenon and they have spoiled the game.

I agree. Or we could have a manager sacking window twice in the year just before the player transfer window. Cheers! Ram

In terms of what they have achieved so far (mid table position), the sacking is unfair. But, we don't know for sure, maybe they have promised something to the management (the owner of the club) and they fail to achieve that. For example, before the competition begin, Sam had promised to the ownwer, he could bring the club to the 4th spot or somewhere in big ten.

For Chris Hughton the briefing was just to keep Newcastle in the league and hence he was actually exceeding the expectations!! Cheers! Ram

Mike Ashley is known to screw up things at Newcastle. As for Sam's case, I guess with a new owner at helm, they will want things done their way and this will include the manager of the club. But having said that, Allardyce's sacking is totally unexpected even thou they just suffered a 7-1 hammering at the hands of Man Utd.

Yes, Mike is really playing with Newcastle emotions big time. His single biggest achievement should be setting the expectations of the Newcastle fans right!! Cheers! Ram
