Share expereince of getting PIN from Adsense

I have two blog where I write artice to earn money from adsense. I made some money already and Google adsense withhweld payments until I confirm with PIN. The PIN is normally sent to user like me through normal mail, the mail did not arrive and I am waiting for it. As I wait, all the ads in my article are take out and only public ads are replaced. As soon I conform my PIN, the ads will be replace. I feel bad. I gave a phone number which did not work and may google adsense may have rung me, but I did not get it. I am waiting too. Did any face similar problem as me? anybody who has cuurently from adsense can tell me of how s/he get his or her PIN, whether, by mail or telephone number? I would appreciate any expereinced shared here.
