I wonder if Tevez is really serious about leaving Man City. Or perhaps, is he just trying to pull a Wayne Rooney trick to get a raise in pay? LOL

I wonder if he will retire from football altogether. That would be a big lost to the football world. He is certainly a world class player. Maybe he will come to my beloved club Newcastle United, where the spirit is always strong haha? He can have a good chat with Colo and Jonas!

I think Trevez is a bully. He is already earning 250K pound sterling a week and is still asking for an increase of upto 300K! This is daylight robbery. If he leaves City, he will fizzle out! He is definitely over valuing himself-he cannot compare himself with the Golden Boy Messi-so let him go to hell if he is tired of City!

I agree with your point very much. Tevez is over-rating himself. I think he has problems with Yaya Toure's "status" at the club, so he has resorted to blowing his own trumpet. If only he could play and let the people or management acknowledge his input and determine his worth, as was the case with Yaya! And, true as you say, if he leaves Manchester City, he will fizzle out faster than you can spell the word out!

That's a good one. Anything Rooney and Man U can do, Tevez and Man City can do better :). But on a more serious note, I think he is really missing his family and as his wife has take such a strong stance that she will only move to Spanish speaking locale, so I guess he is looking to move to Spain or retire from the game. But after the Rooney episode, I have stopped believing anything that players and manager's say in this regard. Cheers! Ram

it's hard to tell what's in his mind. but it will be a big loss for City if he leaves. he's been having some terrific form since arriving to City and everyone knows he's an asset to the team. is there something cooking inside the team management which we don't know and which let Tevez to express his desire to leave the club so unexpectedly all of a sudden. maybe although he's not spoken directly about it.

I think he is serious about it, and I personally do not think he is pulling a trick on City...The Argentinian is really sick of his family for he had been separated from them for about two years...Besides, he could not adapt the climate of England well, which in fact very different from his South American climate...Nevertheless, a positive view will be he is seeking for a new challenge back in his home country, where he can play his best football without sacrificing his life and family...Greetings...

Do you know what players like Tevez or Rooney would deserve? A serious lawsuit, just to get back with the feet on the ground. This is more than disrespectful for their fans, and the club as well. I mean fans pay tickets from their salaries, which are only a small fraction of what a player earns nowadays and the players are still not satisfied. If I could do anything, I would teach them a lesson, just to see that they have to respect in order to be respected. Players want money and they don't deserve it. They should score 3-4 goals a game for that amount of money, but we all know that they don't do it. And when they are criticized or changed by the coaches, they make a lot of fuss and start "crying" about not being respected. And what Rooney did as well, after being booed by the fans was lame. Fans spend their hardly earned money to support the team and the players who are millionaires, even they are in their early twenties don't give a darn about them. In the Balkans such an attitude from a player would be very costly, he would be beaten by the fans without a doubt.

Carlos Tevez's move has nothing to do with Wayne Rooney, he wanted to seek more experience with other big clubs while still young. good luck

It's not about the salary anymore. Tevez has a bunch of money and a few extra thousand per month wouldn't change much. The main problem is cultural. Carlos still can't speak English, even after all these years. He is also not used to this severe weather of England. He misses his family too and wants to move down to south america again. He officially said he wants to play in Corinthians, his brazilian former club.
