If you want to spend around U$200,00 I recommend the iPhone, a HTC or a Blackberry one. I'll have the links down here if you wanna check them out http://www.apple.com/iphone/ http://www.amazon.com/BlackBerry-9800-Torch-Phone-AT/dp/B003Y8XBRY/ref=sr_1_6?s=wireless&ie=UTF8&qid=1292445277&sr=1-6 http://www.amazon.com/HTC-Aria-Android-Phone-AT/dp/B003RCJA6S/ref=sr_1_4?s=wireless&ie=UTF8&qid=1292445277&sr=1-4 Hope it helped

The responses are great, but if the phone is going back to India, make sure the phone you choose can have a cell phone service provider that is not going to cost lots of money for service in India. If they are coming here to use the cell phone when they are visiting only, then find a pre-paid cell phone that can be recycled when they leave? I am not completely understanding the question.

Hi Envy, Can you give me a list of service providers in India and then I can help you find the best cell phone for your needs. I am not a professional dealer or anything, I just love playing with cell phones. :) Thanks. :)

I have the Samsugn Fascinate which has a touchscreen, and the Android OS. I really like it, as I can install apps and games from the market. It is like the iphone in that respect as it has lots of apps to install as well, and yet I have never owned one, but know people that do have one. My phone has a lot of features and it is an enjoyable phone to use, and I am glad that I bought it. Take care, and have a very good day.
