What is stumbledupon?

I was just introduced to Stumbledupon. I registered and tried going through the site, but as I am not that great with computers, I was confused! Can anyone here help? What do we do in that site? Or rather what is it for?

Stumbleupon is simply another networking site, like myspace, facebook, delicious and myLot. Only you will not earn while using it. I strictly use it to post my triond articles, which gain me many views from posting my article links.

hi shaterred Actually i am also a member of stumbleupon but i am not so active with the site.just like mylot,it is also a community.This site helps you discover great websites in the internet world.You can rate the sites that your friends and other members recommended.Rating these sites you like automatically shares them with like-minded people – and helps you discover great sites your friends recommend.I hope this give you an idea on what stumbleupon is.happy mylotting!

Thanks rberon. Yeah it sucks that they pay hahaha. But it may be good way to share articles to friends.
