Dont have it in your house because you dont want strangers entering your house, so you can rent a place or buy one, Be ready for higher water Bills, I know this business has nothing to do with water but weird as it may sound weird but Cyber cafe's have higher water bills. Have patience, Most of your customers will be children and teenage boys, Imagine how chaotic it is.

I think 15 pc's would be a good start, make sure the computer have large fans so they can run 24/7, you also need trust worthy people, instead of having employees, how about your own family and relatives, for sure you have 1 unemployed family member. You also need security cameras just in case of you know what. Its up to you if you want to sell some snacks in your cyber cafe, maybe some chips.

My advice before you're start your own business with your friend, please make some list and agreement with your friend about business management,if you haven't soon or later your partnership with your friend will be crash, and then ask to expert about software and hardware that usually used, don't forget to survey your competitor around of you.Make a different from them and create an unique design.Good Luck

That's a good decision of yours! It's nice to be your own boss, owning your own profitable business.. lots of personal freedom... lots of options! By the way, are you done with business registrations? Like mayor's permit, trade and industry permit, and other requirements for the business to operate legally in your area?

I do know how cyber cafe business is at your place but here in India it is not as lucrative as before. There is too much competition. Your profit from the business must commensurate with the investment and effort you would be putting in. You must have a good service provider who would be able to provide an uninterrupted internet connection. Here in India we have far too much power cut. If it is same at your place then you must have a back up. You also must have a good maintenance staff to take care of your hard ware. You should be able to block all the restricted content. You must also maintain a detailed record of people who visit your cyber cafe in case there is later investigation. Terrorists sometime use cyber cafe's to send threatening mails. I have a friend who was running a cyber café business, but he had to close it down due to recurring loses.

Hi there. Well, for license, it is best going to the government office to ask about it. Make sure you follow rules and regulation of it. Each country is different :) Money wise, try get the biggest speed broadband with sufficient computers. Every month, get like a tournament up and some freebies to grab. This will definitely attract people. Also, budget wise, make sure you have enough to run for the next 3 months just for back up. Finally, you can do 'bad' stuff but just my idea. I used to hangout in this cafe near my house. License only work until 12 midnight. After 12, the door will be shut 3/4. Only 'regular' members will be allowed to go in to play until the next day. So basically, they open 24-7 but hey again, JUST AN IDEA! Good luck! Remember to open near housing area or school places. You going make tons of money.
