Well, it started by Internet disappearing. Well, I have a card that I put into my laptop, but it is too expensive before 7 PM, so I had to wait.
Later in the evening I started surfing with the card that goes on 3G net. It worked for a while, but then everything went black. Power failure.
The electricity came and went away for most of the evening.
Even the phone that goes on the broadband has been dead most of the day.
Yes, I have a cell phone as a plan B.
At last the electricity came back and I started surfing again. Then the 3G card refused to work.
What to do?
I usually don´t give up easily. So I restarted the Internet connection. Didn´t work.
Then I rebooted the computer. Yippee,
it worked at last. I´m happy for this 3G card, it saved the day..kind of..
Have you had challenging days like this??

Sorry to hear about your challenges. Happy that everything is back to normal. Yes, we all have challenging days. Today was a good day, as the weather was favorable for traveling so I was able to visit and take my younger daughter for lunch at a restaurant where they serve good healthy food. That was a special joy for me. It was a little scary at my dad's as he was in a bit of pain that eventually subsided. Back home and thankful that I accomplished all that I had planned.

Still, it is challenging, when things don't suddenly work and we can't do the things we are accustomed to doing as easily as we have been used to.

Yes, it can be a challenge - especially if you have a deadline and you are working with something importanat.
In this case I had prepared a Plan B for both phone and Internet and was happy that they worked rather well..
But for electricity is a bit hard to have a B plan. Yes, I have a wind up radio that works without batteries so I could listen to some news from Finland
But I have a plan C too, I can talk to my Best Friend in heaven without electricity or phone!! If things mess upp completely, He will be there and help!!
Glad you have the same Best Friend!!

I have of those radios too for emergencies but hope I don't need to use it. In this weather, no electricity is bad news. Yes, I too have the same plan C which I use daily. Take care!

Sounds romantic, it is a good thing they have a gas stove.
It was so long time we had a power failure, but it is possible to survive if you know what to do.
We are so dependent of electricity in our days but our parent´s generation could manage much better. And our grandparents even better..
Our ordinary Internet including phone is still gone, so I have only the 4G net and my mobile phone, but it is a good thing that it works at least.
This is a small problem compared to what others go through, so I am not complaining at all..
