We're having a themed party at the office for Christmas. We're rocking the 80's look. So, out with my folded jeans, oversized top, ultra white tennis shoes, tons of bangles, pink lipstick and very colorful scrunchies. I'm guessing everyone's having fun, and the older ones are reminiscing old times. Do you like themed parties? What is your favorite "theme?"

That sounds like an amazing outfit! I have so much fun in themed parties. One of my favourites was army themed. Dressed up in combats with black and green facepaint and took water pistols out with us. At first the water pistols had vodka in but then we filled them with water and ran around trying to spray our boss without them figuring out who sprayed them! So much fun!!

Yeah, they spent the entire night trying to find out who was squirting them, because everytime they had their back to someone they would end up getting wet! It was lots of fun, we only squirted them because they were too boring to join in with the theme!

I honestly have never been to a themed Christmas party and I don't think that I would really like it at all because I think that Christmas is a theme enough for a Christmas party. Now, when it comes to parties for other events throughout the year, I really do like themes like a masquerade party for Mardi Gras or couples costumes for Halloween. Perhaps I am a little bit strange that I don't like the idea of a theme for Christmas party.

Well, it's not really weird. After all, your're right saying Christmas parties are already themed. And it's only fairly recently that I've attended themed Christmas parties, too. I like it.

I've never been to a Christmas party that wasent Christmas theme. I think this is such a neat idea though. It would be so funny to see all your co-workers all dressed up in 80s attire. It would be so awful to see those styles again but so funny at the same time. I would try to go all out if I went to that Christmas party. I would have to go by looking at pictures though because I was born in the early 80s.

It was fun, indeed! Especially for the girls, most of who went all out in their outfits. Even our boss had a fun time (he is mostly a sad, tense, angry person). Maybe he also remembered that time because I think that was the time he first dated his wife, and perhaps those clothes we had on were what she had on then. I was very young in the 80's, too, so I had to look at pictures in the 80's.

I tend to favor the 80's theme as well as it brings out the happiness i many of the office mates. I so love the pimpy types, afros and 80's music as well. I especially like to see everyone dancing the 80's moves as it makes for a great fun time to watch everyone let their hair down so to speak and having fun.

Yup. I was very young in the 80's, but I remember some of the things people wore. It's about loud fashion and beautiful colors, ang big hair! We did a song-dance number with disco christmas music. It is fun!
