Our life is a gift from God, we are lucky that God chooses us to be born and experience a life in this world created by Him, however there are a lot of times when we feel frustrated despite the blessings we received, it just happen when we expect too much. Personally when I feel frustrated I deal with it by realizing that life in this world can only give me temporary happiness and satisfaction and the only thing I can do is to enjoy living here happily while remembering that life after this is the greatest gift I would achieve from God and that's the glorified life, where there are no more pains, frustrations, anger and betrayal ant that's the life the I have been waiting for. How about you? How do you deal with frustrations?

When I get frustrated, I isolate myself by meditating with no other interventions from outside. Meditating helps a lot since the silence can help you think things over and over and why you are so frustrated. Being silent for a few minutes in my room is a great way to unwind.

One thing which I do when I get frustrated to to sleep off.. Mite sound silly but it really works for me.. :D Ofcourse yes, you would have difficulties in getting sleep when u r frustrated but somehow if you manage to.. Once we get up we'll have a better vision and idea and the problem would look much simpler.. Try and update if it works for you too!! :)

Hi May; I agree that frustration may come as a result of expecting too much. Good point. These days, when I feel frustrated or otherwise, I tend to seek out my dog and engage in a happy play session and likely go for a walk. Walking is a very good way to relieve tension. I knew this before but since acting on it more so these days, it is truly fact! Especially if you have a place to walk that is forested. Before I was blessed with my dog, I would tend to move out any frustrations by taking a container of triple chocolate fudge overload ice cream into a nice hot bubble bath along with a tabloid magazine. Afterward, I would feel a lot better. The Triple Chocolate Fudge Overload is magical. For me anyway.

When I feel frustrated over something, I always try to bring and encourage myself to think positively again, and be thankful and appreciate whatever I have in present. I also believe that everyone is different be it their life, desires, thinking, and their heart, and there is no one who can do what exactly we expect to happen while we are in this world to make us happy. Thanks for sharing and have a nice day

Hi Mayrah(505), I know we all have the same feelings, I believe in God because, He is a God of impossible things possible. Right now, I am out of work after 10 years of good work, 15 months now, I have tried to find other jobs but no luck. Right now, I am out of income and only my husband is working. We have debts due to lots of renovations, that we may lose our house. I also have a 28 years old son, still leaving at home and he is in school now. We are striving hard with this economy to make sure food is not missing to keep us going. I am not so healthy either because I am 55 years old and it is really hard to get hired. I am attending starting Monday a extended government program, that will pay me for 14 weeks of school program, in Office Technology and Accounting. I am trying, presently some online business, that I am challenging to help me make some money. I attend church regularly, and pray everyday for help and guidance, to keep on watching over me as the Good Shepherd, that when I get astray, He will pick me up to not loose faith. I always say, Jesus, I trust in You. I know that God closes one door and opens another door, because His plans for us is not always the same as we choose, but helps us through this temporary life on earth with His providence and guidance in meeting with our daily needs, not ours but His Will. I also pray the serenity prayer daily and this helps me with the frustrations I am going through. Dear Lord, Please grant me the serenity to accept things I cannot change, the courage to change things that I can, and the wisdom to know the difference. Amen.. God Bless you with this message and being opened to this type of discussion. summer1955

When i feel frustrated i just think of the words of Bhagavad Gita, ie. "Whatever you took, you took from god. Whatever you gave, you gave to him. You came empty handed, you will leave empty handed"

Hi mayrah! I do the best that I can to try to get rid of the source of the frustration. If that can't be done, then I try to change my attitude towards the source of my frustration. Or I ask myself, why do I have a problem with this? Worse comes to worse, like you, I try to remember that there are better things ahead and that eventually the frustration will disappear. 2 Corinthians 4:16-18 (New International Version, ©2010) 16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. 17 For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. 18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. Have a great day!

When frustrated, i don't deal with it that serious, meaning, i keep thinking like you said " this is life ". Life isn't perfect to anyone, at least that's what i believe, we experience too many times of frustrations & anger, but when we are calm, we laugh at those moments, coz simply those moments are not worth our anger or frustration. Life is full of hardship, it's true that these hardships differs from one person to another, but each of us see it as the end of his life. I have a pretty good technique, or i better saying it's a belief, when dealing with frustration moments & anger, is thinking of other people who face the ultimate pain & frustartions every single day, & i say thank you god. this means one thing mayrah, whatever the hardship & frustration moments we face, remember that there is too many other people who are facing much & much more hard frustrating moments than yours.
