In this play a frightened young women, running from a killer on a dark and stormy night, thinks that she has found a safe heaven in bus station. the situation of the play is highly emotional right from the moment the curtain rises until it falls. There is terror from the outset, and there are all the components necessary to create a melodrama , a dimly lit bus station , a storm accompanied by flashes of light and the promise of violent action or emotion. The scene is tense and highly emotional and the ingredients of a good thriller are present fro the opening speech, As is the case with good melodrama and characterization are secondary. the mood and the suspense of waiting for the development of the plot are the factors that draw the reader quickly into the final stage of the play.
