To me going to church is the most exciting part of Christmas as it focuses on the real true meaning and reason of Christmas. I love the atmosphere in church and the messages and songs. We also get to meet a lot of people. Do you go to church on Christmas? I hope I can get to church this Christmas. The service is at 7.30 in the evning but I get off work only at 6.30!

Christmas Day is a Holy Day of obligation. That means it is a must for every Christian to celebrate the birth of our Lord. And we do that by going to Church and be one with the commemoration... I do hope every Christian acknowledges this important day and does not get carried away with the shopping for gifts frenzy...

But still the shopping malls are so much more crowded than church - wish that would change!

Our yearly Christmas day mass is exactly at midnight and we attend religiously every year. It is something my children and I love to do as we sit around the whole day awaiting the mass. After mass is done we rush home and open gifts so it makes Christmas very enjoyable, peaceful and quality time for us.

I have noticed that there are alot less people going to church nowadays, however when it is christmas there are always lots of people that turn up at church, also there are alot of people that only go to church on mass.I never go to church only for family things like weddings, so i will not be going.

Actually the service will start around 8 in the morning at the church in my village. I do follow my family and it is fun to meet a lot of villagers that I have not met for so long already. People are happy and everyone is celebrating the party together. Thanks for sharing and have a nice day, oh, and merry Christmas in advance

I love going to church on Christmas Eve, I love that the church is full and eveyrone is happy. You see people who you haven't seen in a long time and we are all there to celebrate the reason that our church exists. Christmas is a joyous season, and Christmas Eve service is one of my favorite parts of the holiday.
