What are your views about valet parking?

I think it is a waste of money because you can self park your own car however if its crowded like today was at the mall because people were going shopping for christmas, then it MAY be worth the cost (but I didn't)!
What are your views about valet parking? Do you park valet or self? Why or why not?

Usually, I don't bother, and just walk the extra hundred yards or so. But if there is no parking, I might do it just to save some time, especially if the fees are reasonable. But in places where valet parking is FREE, then I figure, why not? It's worth a dollar tip for the added convenience, especially if it's raining or I have the kids in the car.

Thanks for sharing & it's true but the mall today it didn't mention how much valet was so we didn't valet :(

Hi there! For me, valet parking is cool. When you have a big car, it is fun to get out and throw your keys at the guys. They will grab it and hop into the car. Sounds very familiar? It's just like in the movie. However, I do have valet parking at times. Not always! Once in a blue moon.

Depends on the situation. If you are going to waste a half hour or so finding a parking spot blocks away... and it is freezing, yeah, I think it's worth it. But in most cases, I don't.
