TIME Magazine has announced its Person of the Year, Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook. What do you think of this choice? I am brand new to Facebook (just signed up this week) so I have not experienced much of the Facebook phenomenon yet. I am not sure I would agree with this choice, but, based on the article, he clearly has touched the lives of millions all across the world. How about you? Who is your choice for person of the year 2010?

With the phenomenon known as Facebook, there is no better person to be in that position but Mark Zuckerberg. Everywhere I look and to any internet cafe I've been to, 90 to 95% of its customer is logged in to Facebook. It brought about a medium that can change the way society look at society itself. If I were to compare it, I would say that it is like the bible of the new generation...

Very apt comparison, although I think I would compare it more to the printing press, which was the tool that made knowledge accessible to the masses (including the bible).

I definitely agree with Time Magazine's person of the year. Considering Facebook's popularity, Mark Zuckerberg paved his way to success. Facebook seemed to have almost everything we need. From games, chat to connecting with our long lost friends and loved ones. Mark Zuckerberg is the cool guy when in comes to Social Networking, he has changed the way how social networks should be..

Considering Mark Zuckerberg's decisions effect more lives than most heads of state.. I'm inclined to agree with Time Magazine.

No doubt. For better or worse, no head of state has had much of a lasting impact at all this year.
