Australia come back strongly in the third test match between England & level the series 1-1. England were dismissed on 123 chasing a target of 391,so Australia won the match by 267 runs. So the history remains the same:England had never wona test against australia before Christmas. Two more matches remaining in this series.England will win the series if they wins one match or draws both matches. So the chances are more for England. Now we all are waiting for the Boxing day match.

ya aus won the 3rd test(not 3th test) in the series. australians are always good opposition, they always have the power to rise upto their pottential unexpectedly. here also they were one down in the series but they came back strongly. now the series will be more interesting to watch.

Well game of cricket is great leveler and we are seeing many upsets in recent encounters ,the reason being none of the teams are dominant. It was fun to read many articles in support of English team that they are next Australia, dominant force in world cricket ,Aussies wont win a match and so on.But you cant write off Australia even if many super players of their team have retired.Aussies have momentum now since Johnson is back in form and Hussey playing so well.Next one at Melbourne can be close one .We will see who gives a knockout punch on boxing day.

This series turns so rapidly. i would favor Australia for the series as they seem to be getting better - especially at bowling. They've figured out how to keep the English batsmen quiet!

Walloped is the real word for what the Aussies did to England. There was no fight from England on the fourth day. They were really spineless and collapsed to the pace attack of England. I think Johnson was the right choice for man of the match as well. Now the series has really lighted up. Cheers! Ram

Hi ramaswami, It was Sachin who set a milestone scoring his fiftieth hundred in the Test and there Australia made a strong come back winning the test by a good margin. It was quite expected that Australia would never give up so easily and thus snatched the match to level the series before the remaining ones are played.
