Purchase a laptop in India.

I am going to purchase a laptop. Can you suggest me the best brand which would not be too much costly and at the same time should serve my purpose? Please keep in mind my friends of mylot, that I am an Indian citizen residing in the city of Kolkata, previously known as Calcutta in the state of West Bengal.

I have Acer Extensa 5235 and I have its features and itserved me well. It cost around US1000 equilavent and I like it, it my prized toy. Acer is the brand for the future so I recommend you to buy this. I is a laptop anyway. All the best.

Acer has also been recommended by Win7Texpert. But I am not sure whether it is the same as you have suggested or anything else.

A reasonable laptop I came around these days is Dell xps.. Its providing core i3 with 3+500 GiB and at a affordable price around 45000. my friend purchased this and is satisfied with his decision. I'll recommend as this is best configuration at great price. The name of DELL explains it all. I'll suggest if you can come up with some more specific details. happy Mylotting. thanks

I think you should purchase Lenovo G560. My friend has purchased this and is very happy with the Laptop. The price is about Rs.32400/- and you know in our city it differs depending on the relation with the seller.
