Christ, out of the flames.

Christ - Christ was not burned in the fire.

A historic tabernacle belonging to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Provo Utah went up in flames last week. The damage was so extensive that they don't know if it can be rebuilt. It was built by the Mormon Pioneers back in the late 1800s. A print of "The Resurrected Christ" hung on a wall in the tabernacle. When firefighters found it, most of the picture was burned... all except the image of Jesus Christ. http://www.ksl.com/?nid=148&sid=13725181

Hmmm sorry my friend but I don't believe that's something miracle happened to that picture or God spare such picture to convey something... Even in the bible mentioned in 10 commandment no other God except me or any images on earth... so why I believe that.. sorry but that's my view only... see you around

I didn't characterize it one way or the other. I just posted the article with the pic and let the reader decide for themselves.

This is a love note from Jesus that gives the message that He will never leave or forsake us! This isn't to say that He has left and/or forsaken us when a whole picture burns, but this does seem to be a message of comfort to a congregation that is going through the destruction of generations of history.

To those looking for a sign, this is a sign but for those that are not, we can just be glad that this work of art was partially saved. I say it like this because so many are looking for a sign to confirm their faith and this in and of itself could very well be that sign as "Signs and Symbols are for the conscience mind" If this reaffirms your faith then so be it. I, myself, am saddened that such a piece of master craftsmanship as this historic tabernacle, has been so utterly destroyed. It was a beautiful historic landmark. As for the print, I am glad that it was saved, as much as it was, so that it can be a testament to those looking for a sign. Have a wonderful day!!

That's really amazing and makes you wonder about whether we are receiving a message. I don't believe in coincidences. What a shame for such a beautiful, historic building to burn down.

Non believers would see this occurrence as a coincidence, and believers would see it otherwise. I would make no difference to non-believers but to believers it would make a world of a difference. It would strengthen their faith a hundredfold.
