Ticks and Fleas of dogs, what do you do to make it go away?

Im kinda short of money to buy the neccessary medicines for them and because I have 6 dogs who have fleas and ticks, I decided to make a home remedy for it. What can you suggest to use to make the fleas and ticks go away? The medicine cause like $6 dollars per dog. Thats why I need an alternative for it.

glamgirldoll I goggled this and they suggest cuttinng a lemon in quarters then pour boiling water over it and let is steep this
makes a citrus flea spray that they claimed really works and'y ou just spray it on your dog or dogs.you can also add tea tree oil to the spray if yuo wish.hope this helps as they claim it does.

Some of the home remedies are hard to find in our place, but lemon isnt. I goggled it before and the effective way is to use lavender and tea tree oil which is hard to find. Thank you for suggesting, I'll try the lemon. :)

Just use pet lice removing shampoo. And the, to have more exposure to the sun. Better if you'll gonna check their skin and fur everyday. Do some inspection that will help you and your dogs to be close too.

In my case, I bought along a shampoo that practically kills the ticks and fleas. It worked out for my dogs. Perhaps you could try it too. Just make sure you read the instructions when using it since they may be harmful to humans or even to dogs if not followed properly.
