something wrong with my laptop screen...

I have been using my laptop for almost 5 years already. My laptop is Acer Aspire 4920. Recently I notice that my laptop screen is used to be like before. Sometimes I can see something like waves/an electric shock wave or do we call it distortion at my right screen monitor. For the time being it seems not that serious because I still can use my laptop but still it is irritating me. I do heard that Acer is famous with screen failure.
