christmas gifts

I was opening a christmas gift just this afternoon and a thought came into my mind. It is really quite a treat opening gifts to see what is hidden inside the wrapper..the anticipation and the surprise when you finally get a peep at the gift. But what is even more fun is the wrapping of gifts yourself to be given to loved ones. Don't you think so?

Yes, I do. I love to wrap up the gifts and put them under the tree for the "kids" (adults now). That's a big part of why I love Christmas, being able to give things I think they will enjoy. And I kinda like the actual wrapping, too. :)

It's the buying and getting behind a long line in malls that's so tiring but wrapping is something else. I usually wrap with my daughter and we would have fun with her pestering me with "what's in that box, mom?" Thanks for your response and merry christmas!

Yes, i agree. It is much better to give than to receive. It is much more fun wrapping gifts to those people who has been so special to you throughout the year.

hi figurativeme I use those beautiful chritmas gift bags and stuff tissue in the top so that the giftee cannot see whats in the bag. I had the most fun shoving so many edibles in my sons gift bag as he is batching it in his apartment.Also two gift cards of twenty five dollars each.He is out of work so money w ll be great for him.This was my most fun of all. lol lol

Well I hate to wrap gifts but I love to open them. I know that doesn't seem fair but that is just the way I am.
