Funny that many buy expensive slippers and the high price make it an excuse in wearing it anywhere like offices, hospitals, and other work areas.they are still slippers whatever the price.

Are you talking about havaianas? Yes its a slippers that is too expensive but the quality of it is good! Unlike any other slipper, havaianas can last for a long time. Mine lasted for about 4 years and it is worth it rather than to buy a cheap one that is not durable and will easily be torned.

My girlfriend bought one of these havaianas too. I don't really understand why she, her sister, and her other female relatives are seemed to be obsessed in owning or wearing these expensive slippers. I thought that it was a girl thing or probably they feel proud to wear these branded slippers. But as you said that it could last for about four years because of it's good quality, then I could already say that it's worth buying it since having 12 or more regular slippers for four years would also cost about one pair of havaianas already. -) I still think wearing expensive slippers is still not an excuse to make it valid for wearing it on some occasions or offices where slippers are not suppose to put on. Even if it is expensive, it's still slippers after all. -)

I haven't had any of those expensive slippers because of the price. It pains me to buy a slipper that is very much expensive, when in fact I could use my money in important things instead. Since I don't want to invest on those slippers and my sisters think of this as well, if she wanted to have one she opt to purchase the imitations instead or what they call the Class A versions. I can't blame her, imitations of these products are very rampant in our country, it is every where and it come in very low prices compared to the original ones. And since I don't have one of this so-called hi-end slippers, I don't have any problem wearing them to work places, or the church. But I did wear slippers in my university before, it's a state university so they allow us, the student, to wear almost whatever we want to wear.

i buy expensive slippers because of its quality. i wear them only when i buy things in the city or for casual occasions. As we all know slippers are comfy compared to other footwear. Its a matter of choosing the right footwear for a particular occasion.

i don't own an expensive pair of slippers but i see a lot of people whom i know who use these expensive slippers and are so obsessed with it. i think they like wearing this because it's comfortable to wear and it's in the trend. whatever their reason is, i think it should not be worn in offices or formal gatherings. however there is one exception, i think you're allowed to wear slippers in the hospital if you're not a health care personnel or if you're a health care personnel in a special sterile area..

i was planning to buy one too.. but i just remembered that i have no allowance given every month or so,, so how can i afford to buy such slipper,, lol.. anyways, since i'm still a student, i have to save my money for it will be my one of my primary needs,, never mind of those expensive slippers,, i can still walk even if i have cheap one anyway,, well, it's true that you could save some money for buying durable one, but in my case, i seldom wear slippers, i usually wear shoes in school cause it's not allowed to enter with slippers, and in my house, i can wear any slippers,, i have an islander, it doesn't cost much but it lasted up to now,, it's almost 3 years and i know it can still go for a year or two i think,, well,, i'll just buy those fancy slippers once i get some extra extra extra cash,,
