I always have goals in my mind. I do not write all of them down. Do you set goals? Do you write them down? Do you visualize them? Do you work with others toward group goals? Let's discuss.

I always thought that I was a goal-oriented person. Well, sadly, I love to set goals, but have a hard time achieving them. Someone told me before to list down goals because it is easier to accomplish when you see them in print and get reminded every time you glance at them. Every new year, I set up goals for the coming year. I know I'll get disappointed that I've not accomplished all my goals for this year, but, I'll still be listing down my goals next year.

Do you come back and read your goals after you list them? That may help with monitoring your focus on what you want. It is so easy to get distracted......

Right! I do reread my goals, but not as often. Maybe I should check often to stay on track. I'll start listing my goals for this year, then. Thanks for the insight and happy new year!

Yes, goal-setting and goal-getting is a must for every person. But people's minds fluctuate and goal getting though simple, makes difficulties in many cases! Always, I work with my group's goals! Thanks and hope that you will achieve your goals in right time!!

Goal setting and understanding timing. Timing is a funny thing. Everything happens in its right time. This type of understanding begs for a detachment from an outcome, which comes with true enlightenment......

Yes, I set goals and try to achieve them. This time of year, I'm thinking about them nearly every day because each year I make a list of things I want to do or need to do in the coming year. Some of them are more like guideposts (pay the property tax) and some of them are small things (install a new thermostat) but some are bigger and more intense. Without goals in writing, I'd probably never get anything done!

You have disciplined yourself well but also you understand yourself and the need for written goals for action.....that in itself is truly worth its weight in gold.

I have always set goals for myself, still do. I have something planned every day to get down . If i'm able to accomplish them i feel very good about that.

I have taken a short break from lists. My TO DO lists were getting way out of hand. I still get a lot accomplished daily. I think it's a part of my personality and even if it is not written, I have some ideas in my head about what I want to achieve.
