I could lots of beautiful traditional designs and arts in stones, cloths, gold, houses, palaces, spiritual places so on. But at times there are also nice modern designs. There are lots of rare traditional art, moreover those traditional art is much pure to nature with natural colors, may be even difficult to copy it. I had seen those old building with it those sculptures so on. But still modern art has its own simplicity with beauty. Those rare antiques have own value. I feel that the proverb old is gold runs much in traditional art.

What is traditional art? Isn't that just old art?

Art is always changing as humans change their habits, their point of view, their influences from different things, it is innovation that makes everything unique. As time passes by, humans tend to further themselves away from this so called primitive or traditional because it is boring or not as interesting as the new kind.
People are more interested in new things but after a while when they see something old that they never have seen before or haven't seen in a long time it becomes interesting again.

I love traditional art over modern art. I like the look of paint and sculpture. I don't want to just see a computer generated image. In digital art you can simply erase any mistake. That's a luxury you don't have with traditional art. I think it takes more skill and practice to become a good traditional artist than a good modern artist. The only bad thing about traditional art is that it must be kept in the right conditions and often needs to be restored to reveal what the colors were truly like in the beginning. I know I didn't like Renaissance paintings for the longest time because they were so dark, but then I went to Rome and saw a whole building restored to it's original beauty and the colors were so bright and vivid. I loved them.
