The world's illegal trade in ivory, which experts thought they had under control, is booming again. The biggest increase has been in China, where there is a thriving ivory carving industry and few controls by the government. By killing them just for a nice ornament is sick.

As far as my knowledge goes, I think I saw somewhere, they are culling indian elephants too for it's tusks.

yes,i agree with that. soon there will be no Elephants and they will become extinct like the other animals. thats so sad
