What a jurks there are around us, is it funny?

I'm just watching youtube and i saw different videos with cruelty, like when a roe is beating a dog with the hoof, when people scare their friends with ugly masks and they scare their friends so much, that their friends are reacting a way they can hurt themselves, also drunk people, who are in the video falling on the ground and just after they fall, someones is going to help them ... but why we have to stay them to fall at all? If we make the video, we know what will happen .. so we are staying it to happen, so someone can find it funny?
Is that so so much funny and is that the way we have to make ourselves funny time, when we laugh at that how cruel and crazy can be the others?
I'm asking myself where are we going, again? Why do we have so changed believes and why simple things, which needs help, because of some reasons, has to be a reason for us to laugh?
These videos in youtube has so many viewers, like people enjoy them really much.
For me it's not funny at all, when someone needs help you to laugh at him... Is it so strange if i find that behavior as bothering and awful?
Of course, we never know the crazy parts of the behavior of the people around us .... But if i see someone, who is doing such a video, i would never talk with him again, for sure. Enjoying cruelty for me is only the first step before someone starts to do something more and more serious hurting the others ...

You're right. There are a plenty of nasty pranks uploaded there. Some, i appreciate, some, i don't at all. Most of them are funny but you can't help but wonder, what if you're in their shoes? How would you feel? Right?

well, people have different perceptions of cruelty and the extent of it done to something or somebody. what may be funny to other people, others would find offensive and cruel. but there are many things too that most people would simply find disgusting and nasty. i, for one, don't like hearing about babies or young children or women or old, helpless people being hurt by mean, heartless people. these really get on my nerves.
while culture sometimes dictates attitudes, often, plain and simple personal characters show people's true colors. to my mind, shallow personal pleasures should never be an excuse for being cruel.
