Spamming mylotters

Many times I accept a friend´s request, specially from newbies. I don´t think they have to prove anything beforehand. I can always delete them later.
But some of them think that, just because I accepted them, they can send me their links to other sites.
While it is true that I say in some posts that I earn about $100 a month online (specially to people who think all sites are scams), I don´t spam friends with site links if they are not interested. There are many things to talk about besides earning money.
When I accept a friend´s request from someone who is seeking for advise in earning money, I imagine we are going to talk privatly abot strategies first, like my site trading that has given me decent results.
But there is no reason to send links without my asking and without even have the politeness of saying "hey· first.
There. I said it. Is this a rant?

I am wary of low number mylotters asking to be friends. I am every more wary of them if they have a lot of banners on their profile page or if one of their few interests is "making money"
If I'm not sure, I probably won't accept them, but I might let them sit a week or so just to see if they are serious, or only here to try and get people to join other sites under them.
Sadly, I have to say I don't accept young men from India anymore, I have plenty of them already and their ONLY interests are making money, cricket, soccer and Bollywood, IF they have that many...

I think people, especially newbies, assume that if your interests lie in the money making slot that it's ok to send you information. I haven't had it happen to me for a while but I just delete them. I prefer friend requests to be at least a little genuine.

I suppose newbies don´t know how this site works. I DO want to earn some money (who doesn´t). It is just that that is not my way.

I have accepted a lot newbie requests but Luckily I haven’t faced any of the problems like you. Whenever I chat with newbie’s regarding money making sites I start with normal process and then we go for the Links thing. It must be really frustrating to get all those links without asking for them. I really understand you. But many new people thing that this is the site to Exchange links so they try to make Friends and when they get Friends they start their Tries but exchanging as many links as possible.

It is frustrating. People read that I earn about "100 online each month by trading sites and they imagine that trading sites is that I join under them and that´s it!
THe word "trade" escapes them. I would not earn half as much if there was not an exchange of site links. And that has to be done after a conversation.

I am not keen on spam messages either. I feel almost hurt if I’ve accepted a newbie’s friend request which is almost immediately followed by a spam message! I tend to delete those messages and eventually the friend if it continues. I don’t think it’s necessary unless the member makes it clearly that they may be after a link to join.

I don´t like people who suppose I will join their links just because they asked me to accept them as friends and I say yes. If any of them had taken a second in reading my answers in money interests, they would know that I trade sites but never join for free
. But besides that, I think noone is entitled to send a PM with links to another prson if he/she has not asked for them.
Happy posting friend!

It's annoying to me, it happened a few times to me. I accept friedships of everyone, newbie or not, gratefully, and I hate when such request are only for spamming their links, there is no point in that, there are many ways into attracting people as refs. I simply delete them inmediatly and forget them.
Those are just spammers only, and almost all they make a post or two only with the intention of getting refs only and not participating at all.

i don't like other people to spam me as well... and if i get a private message giving me links about other money making online sites, i will just ignore it and i will delete the person from my friend's list as well... take care and have a nice day...

I know that this may seem rude but I generally ignore the spamming...if it continues, I politely tell them that I am not interested for whatever reason & if they continue to spam me, then I will delete them as my friend here on mylot.

I do the same, moonchild. But it is a problem when you have many friends as it takes time to go to them to delete them. And the spam messages cannot be deleted and interferes with PMs you have with the people you do want to reach.

Hi. marguicha. I agree with you. Many people come on this site and they want to be friends. They will send me a message and they just want to spam me with their links. I have gotten a few people that were like this too. Others will just say hello and ask me where I am from. I don't like it when all they want to do is give me their links just so that I can joined up under them. I mean, why me? Why do they want to share any links with me? Usually I am already a member of the sites that they are giving to me anyway. It is just aggravating.

Now that I am actually looking at friend requests before I mindlessly approve them, I see a lot of people with a handful or very few posts. Now I don't go and decline them, because they have the potential to become good members and potential friends later. However, there is just the dubious nature of some of them, just trying to get people to sign up to their programs. I think that they are missing the entire point. After several pieces of spam, I got picky about how I accept my friend requests quite a bit actually. That is just how it works from now on for me and I'm sure many others.
After a while, once they have proven themselves as legit, good members, I might actually accept them. Call me paranoid, but that's just experience talking. So yeah, a few experiences have made me a bit, selective shall we say. Which is just one of those things about life. A few bad apples and the entire bunch is spoiled. So don't take offense if I don't accept any friend requests. I'm carefully looking at them. That or I have gotten lazy and haven't looked at them in weeks, like I tend to do but I'll get around to them. Eventually, by about 2014 or so.

I accept all my requests from all members, I do not have too many issues at all from them sending me links as I really do not get very many. But if I did I would clearly tell them to stop and if they do not then I suppose I would delete them.

It totally depends, I think, as for me I do not know much about internet so soemtimes I do not contribute meaningfully and actively with freinds or sign up their referred sites. It does not mean that I am too cautious of spanning. Some people are very cautious and very restrictive in their dealings with email addresses.

I am a good friend. Add me and I'll accept you. . Yes,I always receive the same and they are so annoying but I just let them since it is part of their online activity. Since we received them, its up to us if we have to mind them for that. Coz for me, If I am interested, I'll go for it, if not I simply ignore them. I don't spam friends coz I know the feeling of being spammed. ^^
Happy earning! ! ! ^^

I like to earn money as much as anyone. In fact, my vacations depend entirelly on my online earnings. But I don´t spam. And if anyone reads an answer to a post at money earning interests, they will read that I trade sites, I don´t join for free. It has been the only way I have discovered to earn $100 a month online, enough to travel at least once a year

Hi marguicha,
The same is the story with me too. Earlier I would accept any one but now I am a bit different in adding them.
I usually see the number within the bracket and check the profile. If I feel the person could have ago I accept or else who would like to see links and links and links...

I've received these spam mails like about 2 times but I'll just ignore it. Perhaps it's something like a hard-selling marketing tactic used by them? They want to market their referral links so that they earn more money or commissions. Usually hard-selling tactics used online will seldom work. The best is to ignore.

I get them too in pm's but if I am not interested, I just tell them so, and I won't signup with the site they recommend. I do think it is rude to send links out without asking first if it is okay. You can pretty much tell that they only want referrals and they are just out to spam others as the sites probably aren't legit either. I am very cautious before I sign up with any sites that others recommend. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.

Unless people explicitly ask for help in creating wealth for themselves will I send them info. Otherwise, no. I hate spam as much as the next guy, especially when personal links are posted on here.

I accept newbies friend request because I remember that one day we were also newbie....I ignore any link sent by them so they will not send it again. I never send any link to anyone. Only I say that you can check details about this that site on my blog. If they like my work, definitely they will become my blog's regular readers. Sometimes if I come to know about new earning opportunities through mylot then I will ask users to send me referral link to join, because I don't mind to join new website under anyone because we don't have to spend money from our own pocket and if somebody earns from me than it's good for him/her.

Oh, dawnald, you are truly a mess!
