Jagex has posted a poll asking players whether or not they would like to have the old wilderness & free trade back & frankly it's pissing me off. The only option is to vote yes to both or not vote at all. Also you don't even have to log in so anybody can vote with any other players name several times. WTF? I know for a fact that several people have gone through there voting with the names of people on the highscores list, their clan list & forums. Even my name's been used & I'm adamantly against it. Those things were removed because the game was getting over run with bots & the Real World Traders were overcharging people thousands of dollars after they were given the credit card numbers. The scams & identity theft assosciated with them got so bad that the credit card companies threated to stop processing payments for Jagex which would have bankrupted the company & killed the game if they didn't stop it. Even without the credit card issues the average player was also troubled because of the bots the R.W.Ters used. You couldn't try to gather any resourse without having to compete with at least a dozen bald headed bots. WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD JAGEX EVEN CONSIDER LETTING THIS STUFF START UP AGAIN? What's your take on the situition? ( tell me we still have some players on here )

I had just thought of something. I have told you before my thoughts on this. However, free trade... botters... PvP.... Do you see what I am getting at? This means that people can mass create accounts and bot to their content, then transfer all the money to the main account. Even if the botting accounts are banned, the money, the important part, will be saved. This means more botters. Well, PvP, was a good idea. Jagex can't be perfect... Whatever happens, have fun.

Yea, soon as they made the announcement that free trade would be returning the botting increased dramatically as they started stockpiling GP to trade to their main characters. Jagex has become way too lax. Now they don;t even ban bots, they just reset their stats. LIKE THEIR OWNERS CARE! They need to ban the bot & the players main character they trade the GP to. THEN maybe they'd learn the lesson.

It's sad when the people responsible for the policing & governing of the game just give up which is exactly what it seems like they've done.

I'm glad that there are those that actually agree with me. I used to chop willows at draynor. You should know how it's like now; there are always more than twenty bots in any world at any given time... Jagex used to put down the ban hammer immediately. What they do is ban accounts. There is no point to this, botters can create more accounts. What Jagex needs to do is to ban the ip address of a person along with the account. This way, all of his or her accounts are rendered useless.

I really want free trade back, not so much the wilderness. I have several accounts and I always wanted to give some cash to my poorer accounts, but I was never able to. I think allowing free-trade would help me a lot. A problem might be gold farming, botting, and etc.

Are they on your friends list? If so you should be able to trade them a decent amount. I can trade up to 240k every 15 minutes to freinds. IF they do actually do the free trade expect to see a huge wave of bots decend on the game. Your poor guys will stay poor because they'll never be able to gather a single resourse.

Not like it matters. Jagex no longer bans bots, just resets their stats. The owners don't even CARE the bots are just there to make money to trade to the main character. Their stats don't really matter. Jagex should step up , ban the bots & the main character they're feeding their GP to. That would teach them a lesson.
