Christmas has already been and I must say I am very happy with the gifts I received although I enjoyed the family getting together more! I have been lucky that whatever it is I wanted I eventually got which makes me very fortunate in life. Mind you, some things I’ve had to wait for years before they came along such as my new car, that took around ten years and my precious daughter who took almost seven years to come into my life. The best things are worth waiting for I guess and the lesson for me has been to learn to practice the art of patience I suppose...

I have always wanted a really nice telescope that was strong enough for me to get a good look and things like the moon, and other planets when they are close enough. I have never had a really good telescope. My parents got me a cheaper one when I was a kid, but it wasn't much stronger than an average pair of binoculars. About all it was really good for was spying on a few neighbors...oh some of the things I saw... LOL

When I was little a friend had a board and when she put this small ballerina on it it would dance. How I wanted one! Since I have got older I have always looked for one but never found one. The nearest I have ever got is to a ballerina musical box which insidently I bought for my Grand daughter for an extra gift this year. I just hope that she will like it!

I've always wanted a kalidiscope. You know, one of those cylinder shaped things that you look through and see little pieces of colored glass that change into beautiful patterens when you turn the wheel on the end of it. Not just any old kalidiscope, like we had as kids, made of cardboard. I've always wanted a big beautiful one that is made for adults, not a kids toy.
Loved playing with my kalidiscope as a kid, always wanted that better one though.
I've seen them in catalogs, those big beautiful things with the BIG price tag. I've hinted about one to various people but no one has ever got one for me. Maybe they think I'm kidding. After all it does look like a kids toy. One of these I may just buy one for myself. Merry Christmas to ME!
