Best Fireworks display

I've always been a huge fan of fireworks display and every time I hear news that there is going to be a fireworks display at a particular time on a particular day, I really look forward to it whether the display is short or even long. At one time, while we were eating dinner at a restaurant, I was able to watch a beautiful display that lasted for about 5 minutes. I know it's still quite short compared to other fireworks display in other places but watching the bursting lights that are so colorful and bright in the night sky while having a sumptuous dinner made quite an impression on me.
How about you guys? Have you seen a one of a kind fireworks display? What was it like?

The festivals in japan had the best fireworks displays. You could stand on the bay, look straight ahead to see a spectacular display, and then look left or right and see just as beautiful ones. They had some very unique designs, that are just starting to show up in displays here in the states. I remember smiley faces, a penguin, hearts, glasses, and umbrella.

That's quite a creative collection of fireworks art display. I hope to see something like that in the future.
