I hope Chris and Leon are not the protagonist of resident evil 6

in many gaming messageboards there are those fanboys whoa re debating which character between Chris and Leon should star in Resident evil 6 and I dont like it. Those fans, most likely, the very first resident evil game they played is Resident evil 4, which is not a horror game.
I did like Leon as character before, But that is when he is the naive rookie cop in Resident evil 2, But he was turned into a badass wannabe over powered super agent. Because of his personality change he became an emotionless action hero.
In case of Chris, he is one of the original protagonist of the game along with Jill Valentine, But just like Leon is kinda over exposed nowadays.
resident evil have other characters like Claire,Sherry,Barry,Carlos and many more who can have the spot light. or maybe they can create new characters again, Maybe civilians so the game will be back to being scary.
I hate how Resident evil 4 and resident evil 5 fans acts like they were the Resident evil fans and the fans of old Resident evil games were ditched in the trashcan by Capcom.

yes last games of the re saga are different from the first ones naturally resident evil was born as an horror survivor game and not just as a shooting one anyway capcom probably converted some chapiters even in the case of the resident evil because probably the market trend come into this direction even if the old fans of this videogames aren't so happy about this change...anyway i always liked chris as a character leon in reality is too much 'cop' for me....

yes probably is much more near to call of duty saga than resident evil one it is a pity because including all graphic improvements probably they can design now a really scary and realistic resident evil!!

the oment saw Leon and Chris, I know this gae wont be scary, Games with Claire and Jill are much more scarier. Its not because their women but because they still have they still have vulnerability. Chris, Leon and Ada are literally superheroes.

now its nothing but a generic shooter, I miss the fixed camera angles, I miss the puzzles and is the horror. Now its just a call of duty wannabe.

yeah the first resident evil was the most scary due to it being the first and plus the soundtrack had such creepy music. i think resident evil 4 was scary though as you had a bunch of cult worshiping misfits out in the middle of no where. i kinda think it was making fun of the catholic church if you want to look at it from that point of view as the main bad guy kind of looks like the current pope along wit the italian accent. i actually think resident evil 4 was the second most scary one of them all. resident evil 5 wasn't that scary at all. i would like resident evil 6 to be in a different location compared to past versions such as some mountain landscape like afghanistan or maybe a place similar to china.

In my case I want Resident evil to be back to the city(back in the USA please), I dont want it to be a lets go around the world and shoot people series. I never found Resident evil 4 scary because Leon doesn't get scared. So Yeah proffer female characters leading the Resident evil games. I love Jill in resident evil 1 and 3, I love Claire in 2 and Code veronica. The game is much scarier when a woman leads the game instead of being a second playable character. The last Resident evil leaded by a female character is 3. I dont consider Code Veronica because Chris stole the Spotlight from Claire in the end. When it comes to male characters, I dont want a cop or an agent or a soldier. He should be a regular guy.

1 year later.....screw it, Chris and Leon Again! Claire is the most requested character lead Resident evil 6. I hate Capcom.
