Can Mylot make email account system (like facebook) does?

Facebook email account system is going to the top market. They are eating google like a chicken. Now, I think, its mylot turn. Can anyone tell me what if mylot makes an email account system, what happens?
I think mylot should make an email account system so that we can remain in touch with our mylot friends and encourage them to view/rate/comment on our discussions and in turn we can rate/view/comment their discussions.
What do say guys? What r the pros and cons of making mylot email account system

Mylot already has got a PM tab, and that's what we are supposed to use. IT's the same idea like an email, just that it's more convenient for us to use it. Email system might be a tad too slow and some members would definitely abuse it. One thing different about mylot and facebook is that, we are earning with our posts here. So it's not quite possible for mylot to follow whatever facebook is doing or has.

yes that will be a good idea of making mylot famous.because after facebook,twitter i think its mylots turn.i can really imagine the they when will be gatting payed for mafia war,galacticos in mylot..i am really looking forward to those days..
and as someone said in this discussion said if it provide email account system it can attract more people that means more traffic.and i think then mylot can give more earning fro our participation.

Personally, I wouldn't use it. I do think it is a good idea though. I feel that it would be much easier since you don't have to add somebody to 'send a message' on facebook, and you do on here.

I do see what you mean about convenience, but myLot avoids distribution of emails to friends. As owlwings mentioned they would consider it as spamming and they would not be able to control so many complaints.
I on the other hand do not avoid the email alerts as I already get all of my friends discussions directly to my email inbox.

I totally agree with you that mylot can be the best because it pay us. However, there may be two things we need to consider. It may have something to do with intellectual property, mylot can not copy directly what Facebook is doing, and may second, mylot has to be different. If these two things are not the answers then, why not mylot can do as you suggested.

I don't know,But i feel the same..
By this,Mylot will earn more..Which will result in the following:
1)More people attracted towards mylot.
2)More earnings for mylot.
3)Maybe Mylot can give more money to members.
4)Mylot becomes more famous and better
what do you say guys?
