How can you respond to people who are trying to Make fun of you? Are you trying to cope with being bullied or made fun of?

I always treated those people exactly as they treated me. You have no idea how fast they can change a tune. TATA.

My tune is always changing, for example...

Where's the example then?

If you are speaking about members here on myLot I simply wish them well and let it go. See even with people off line I simply do not waste my time in furthering any frustration for myself. So I find that people off-line I do not have to be forced to be acquainted, so negativity is something I simply do not deal with. As for anyone if a member in myLot, I do not further the situation and move on to the next response. If the member continues then I suppose I would have no choice but to report and let admin deal with the situation.

I'm out of sync here. I try to make the whole episode funny and out of their control. This behavior may encourage them to attack, but up to some limit. I don't use report button though. As it could cause them to bully some other users as well, I suggest doing what the ladies above say.

You are right to the extent we should not take everything so seriously, and we should not take every comment personally. Often times the people involved in the discussion know almost nothing about us. So we should just relax and accept the fact that different people will have different views.

As long us they will not hit me it is okay because the people who make fun of me are the people who wants attention. And let them be like that because there is nothing I can do. But if they started to get physical, that is a different story, as long as I have my feet and arms, I will fight for my right even if it will cost me my life. If I die, at least I fight for my self. But as much as possible I will stay away from trouble.

It depends. I mean, sometimes you can tell these people ar ejust joking, and if you can appreciate the humor, then I guess it's fine. But if someone were 'making fun of me' in "real life", I would either make fun of them back - or call them out that they're making fun of them and tell them to cut it out. It depends on who it is, though. My friends can make fun of me without offending me, but someone I don't know - like a stranger - then I will get angry (sometimes, also depending on the situation). Same goes for over the internet. Most things I let slide. But when it's flat out insulting, I'll usually call them out on what they're doing so they know I don't take that kind of stuff, online or off.

Certainly, I do not mean to make fun of you or others on mylot. If we are not careful, though, we will eventually be offended by a comment.

I ignore them. That way, they would be the ones who would look stupid.

well when people used to make fun of me (which they did alot when i was in school), i would just try to ignore them to the best of my ability and usually it got better with time. thank God i am no longer bothered by rude and ignorant people trying to put me down all the time :)

I will consider who are the people trying to make fun of me. Are they friends of mine or just total strangers? I usually play on their games if they are my friends otherwise need to do something that they may never forget or depends on my mood and the level of the so called 'fun' at my expense. There are things we are very sensitive of and once they hit that very part of us we lose control and never know what will happen next. However the best way to deal with it is to turn a deaf ear or just go somewhere.
