I don't quite understand what your problem is but i suggest you start backing up your files and restore your CPU. If it still doesn't get the job done, i suggest you reformat your CPU. Just reinstall everything.

Well if you rebooted and its still on the frits then its probly a virus the only thing can be done is removing the virus but you would have to identify it, and that can be dificult to do, because sometimes even if you have virus protection there could still be somthing that the program missed I assume you have virus protection if not get some, in fact you could virus protection free at cnet.com. But if you already have virus protection then whatever's wrong with your computer could be somthing needs a professionals opinion could be somthing that needs repair or reformatting, I removed a few hidden viruses by using my reg-edit option but if your not sure how to use reg-edit I would not recommend trying because unless you know how to save your registry in case you make a mistake its not a good idea, but I hope you find a way to resolve the problem.

I could tell you how to start your computer in safe mode, which is a good place to begin, but there would be no point, since you do not know what to do after that. What operating system are you using? Windows XP? If that is what you have, it has a built-in utility to restore the computer to an earlier configuration. It can be found in accessoriessystem tools.

For me, if the problem persists, I shall back up those personal files and reload the whole operating system again in my final choice. Sometimes, we are not so good experience in tackling the problem of the software. When we are trying to modify here and there, the more problems will come out soon. To be safe, I back up my personal file first , then only I shall start figure out problem.

this is not good one. you should call a engineer to re-install the operating system. because the operating system is down. that's why it is working in the same place again and again.
