as soon as i was in Cop, i fired him up and headed for QC West, near shantung, keyser radiators for another party (there was a party at home, my dad and his people were celebrating) to fetch adda. when i got there (after i failed to see shantung and made 2 u-turns) the party was already wrapping up. so i contented myself with some coke and smokes. outside there was a couple (probably in their 30s) arguing. normally i'd never step in but when i saw the guy hit the girl with a shoe, i instinctively called out to the guy and asked him to stop (in a super duper nice way) (promise) (swear) (adda if you're reading please back me up on this). the guy irked that i meddled came at me and asked me if i had a problem. i told him not to hit the girl. just have a shouting match. or something. a spitting match can also be allowed. but hitting someone is just not right. definitely a girl is not to be hit (except in sexy situations and in sexy spots only and in a sexy manner definitely) (wink wink nudge nudge) as soon as he put his hand on me i readied myself (actually i already committed to knock some sense into him when i stepped in) and gave him a warning not to touch me. the woman frantically came between us and asked me to leave them alone. sigh. crazy. the guy was still shouting invectives at me. and since that was a personal insult to me already i moved towards him but everyone was asking me not to get in a fight. they didn't have to hold me back. normally, i keep out of fights. i've had enough of them in the past. but if i had my way... i was thinking of things to do to him already which would again bring me up for assault and battery. that's not what i want. so off they went and i went back to smoking. while the rest of the mechanics milled around me and told me they'd have swarmed the guy if something had happened. adda told me not to do that stupid thing again cause she didn't want to be single unexpectedly. i just told them, my conscience would not have allowed me not to step in. After all, we are supposed to be gentlemen and in a civilized society, causing harm to another (especially a female) is just downright disdainful. puff puff puff sigh what would you have done?
