Don't know whether this discussion of mine will get deleted or not?
I just want to say something to my fellow mylotters.
Mylot prevents its users from responding like "ok", "yes", "Thank you" etc. I think this is great. But I see that some users report some of the 1 line response just because they are 1 line. I see that sometimes many people just repeat one sentence. Sometimes also using synonyms(Funny). Sometimes they split they split their response with a "Thank You" or "Merry Christmas" sort. But, the subject matter of the post may be 1 line. it's a great strategy. I'm learning it too. i have completely no objection.
But I think 1 liners with subject material must be considered too. I have no objection if I earn less due to that response. But sometimes some Self- declared Mylot Guardian report those responses. I think agreeing to someones discussion is also a response.
Feel free to delete or report my discussion if I crossed any of Mylot's Guidelines. I will understand that Freedom of Speech is very less here.
Merry Christmas
This is not a complaint, just a discussion....

superlike..
i agree with you fully debg90.the mylot is now full of guardian and reporters.they cant cnsider a oneliner or short response.they always want their discussion to get famous and they are spamming the others.i dont know why but they are starting posts again those one liners.we are member.we will not stop for money.to me our prestige is main.i have the right to say and i will say..but i will not stop responding because of some self declared guradian.
and i admit that they are old to this site i think they should be more caring to the newbies instead of spamming them..we are member too.i have pointed out one user who spams around i dont want to disclose his name.
**** one point to be noted that they thinks that they are really working hard to post and to get money they cannot let anyone go away without working har or just by using short response or one liners.
come on we are not racing here.we are all here to earn so why spamming around the others??
merry x mass..

Are you certain that we are all here to earn?
Some of us might be here instead of playing games on some other site.

@ debs:
"Do not select a best response right away, wait at least a week before choosing a best response. This will give myLot users plenty of time to respond to your discussion topic and will give you a variety of responses to choose from."

mysdianite you are changing the topic..most of us are earning and they write in most of their posts..but i cant stand when some one posts some outrageous comment and all the user just agrees to that..none of us here to spam the other.how do you judge a quality??do you have any standard unit for it??

MyLot tell us that we earn for quality.
Some users confuse 'quality' with 'quantity' and you will see those who say 'post at least 4 lines'. Nowhere in the Guidelines or the FAQs do myLot tell us to post 4 or 5 or 6 or whatever number of lines so that is just speculation on the part of those users who think/say this.
One line is often sufficient to get a point across.
However a one line response saying 'I agree' is a useless response but if it says 'I agree because so and so and so and so ' it is then furthering the topic.
When a topic starts with a one line which just repeats the title, in most cases it is not quality.
If comments which are furthering the topic in a response box are only one line then they are fine too if they are on topic. Sometimes one word is enough.
Whether others report or not is beside the point because reporting does not mean that there will always automatically be a deletion taking place. Admin decides on that and does not delete all the reported posts. If there is no violation they stay up.

I never said anything about earnings. If my discussion is not yielding anything or furthering the discussion, then it should reflect on the earnings. But, I don't like that someone reports this response. I never told that I've written I agree without giving any reasons. Just I completed my response in only 1 sentence. That's not fair.

Yes I agree with you. Better you make it direct to the point that you used alot of flowering words to make your post longer. It's boring to read a paragraph if the content of it is nonsense. If you can make it short that full of thoughts make it. Don't bother yourself with many words that will complicate the ideas you are going to shared by the posters. I might do a direct to the point opinions that clarify a things than make readers confused what it's all about.

Yeah, I know what you mean. Members are often forced to murmur or mumble non-stop just to come up with long posts. There are times though that one-liners or even one-word responses are appropriate, but this is not allowed. I guess we just have to abide by the rules.

personally, i dont like reading lengthy posts. i prefer those concise posts but with substance. long posts surely would bore me and i wont be able to finish reading or else, i would just shortcut it. ;) i think we better summarize our points.
