IMDB ranked it Top 1 and i can assume that this is number 1 flick in most of the movie fans.

it can be seen that you love this movie very much.indeed anyone who earnestly watched this one must experience a kind of awesone,respectable feeeling. everytime i review it i can be easily attracted and moved again.i don't know much about the actors.but they are really good ones,even if just concerning their performance in this movie.

I love the movie. It is and will always be one of my favorites. I had to buy it so I could watch it anytime I wanted.

It has been more than a decade since I watched this movie but I will never forget this. There are movies that are only entertaining and after a day or two it will be completely forgotten. But this movie is the kind that would last long in someone's memory and I should watch this again to refresh the details. I am not a movie goer, I seldom watch TV but whenever there are movies that are highly recommended, I give time to watch it. Most of the movies created now are junkies, no story but only full of computer effects like explosions and unrealistic actions. One would not be able to get moral lessons as well. Let's be choosy in watching movies as this consumes our precious time. It is better to check reviews on movies we are planning to watch. I highly recommend this movie Shawshank Redemption for you guys to spend your time to watch. It's worth it!!!

One of my favourite movies of all time, it's actually from a Stephen King story, Rita Hayworth and the Shawshank Redemption. What I love most about this movie is it did the original story justice, since it's a character piece. Profound and spellbinding with great acting. Really can't say enough good about it. I think I'll have to dig it out and watch it again.
