Securring our boarders

I think congress should sstop bailing these banks and car companies out and stop spending money on these pet projects for their friends and start securing our boarders. With that money they spent on the bail out they could have built a really nice security fence around our boarder. Do you realize how many people would have been hired to work on this. which brings me to this point. we have national guard and reserves that are paid really well to work 1 weekend a month 30 days a year why not have them patrol our boarders. just rotate them out like you do normally. if it is your weekend for reserve training then it should be your weekend to guard the boarder. what do you think?

How do you propose getting the extra security for these boarder patrols? Surely, congress would have something to say about that one. But I see you are on the right path. I like your tactics though, clever ideas.

here in texas there is a joke that says
fix 3 major u s problems at once.
immagation- dig the rio grand deeper and wider with flood gates on both ends.
florida aligator- relocate them to the new and improved rio grand river.
see you can put the gators in there and it would stop them from swimming across so that fixes to problems.
the third in politicains- well to keep the gators from starving in the rio grande we can feed them the politicains.
there problems solved. lol

Here is what my boyfriend continually says that if congress gave all lower and middle class families a million dollars each none of the problems would exist today. However this would not allow congress to further debate and or keep some many wonderful jobs.
To a sense he is absolutely correct, as where is the bailout of so many hard working citizens who struggle daily.

Well we should get it done. Hopefully one day we will. Saying and doing are two different things. I think that we really need to take a step back and stop worrying about offending the rest of the world and fix our country. One of the main steps is securing the borders so illegals cannot enter the country. I doubt that anyone is going to want to make much more of a token effort that matters. But let's not get into the reasons why I think that is, but still the borders do need some tightening, as its a safe spot. If illegals can get it, so can people who want to cause us harm.
