For me better Quarantine it first, which i think all anti virus does first on every virus detection and rescan it inside quarantine and find repair or heal command. After that if it prompts safe then restore it but if not better delete it ASAP. But before that try to run most of your important programs to know if it has the affected file.

for me, i think you have delete it, once it is infected by a virus. sometimes there are viruses that it can be clean, but sometimes it couldn't.

My thinking is if you know what the file is and do not want to delete then clean it out and save. However if you are not using the proper virus protector and or scanner then you are saving a bad file that later will infect your computer. I would prefer to simply delete it completely and not be bother by later surprises.

Quarantine it first and if the software are still working well or no other applications or things going on with the computer, delete if from the virus chest. Just observe your computer first before deleting anything.

I would suggest that you delete it, particulary if the files that were quarantined won't really affect the way your computer works. If you have other options of healing them without having to delete the file, you may want to opt for that instead. So why do I suggest you delete the file? -- This is just to avoid having to accidentally restore the files that were infected (which will pose more risks to your computer).
