Of-course at first I felt little bit uncomfortable then I changed the systems setting comfortable for me and now it works very cool. I think we should have lot of things to learn in computer.

I don't like to use a computer without a mouse. It just feels uncomfortable. I'm not used to just working with the keyboard with shortcuts. I can maybe work with it for a little while but after that it gets too uncomfortable for me.

I know Most of the people doesn't like to use computer without a mouse, But we can do all sorts of mouse operations in keyboard itself, Even though we don't use this, we should have some knowledge about how to use keyboard as a mouse. It may help us in some situation like how its happen to me.

In fact we need to get practiced to use without mouse. For me, if a mouse is not supplied, then I will be totally handy capped. An independent mouse makes me faster about 20 times more speed on work. Because ever since the mouse usage is started, I am used with it and normally I used to carry a spare mouse wherever I go (any work related atmosphere) as if I need to work on some other PC or laptop, I prefer to connect and work with the mouse that I use for my own purposes. Thank-s

I have never used a computer without a mouse, and i don't think i could find my way around in it. I have gotten used to using my comp with a mouse and i hope i won't have to get used to using it without one :D.

My mouse went wrong once on me and i could not work out how else to work the computer, as it was really hard to do all the things, that i wanted to do.I had to wait until the shops were open to get another one, as i am not that great on a computer to work out how to try to use it without having a mouse.

Hi ajith_kumar! I had experienced that one before when my mouse became defective. I didn't have a spare one and it was already late so the stores had closed. It was really tiring and time consuming. If it wasn't something important I could just have waited to buy a new one but I need to finish that report so I had no other choice but to work without the mouse. Happy mylotting!

ya...many times.... Sometimes I use one of my friend's laptop which has its touchpad not working properly. I have to do many fuctions such as cut, copy , paste and tab changing with keyboard. It is a very learning experience. There are so many shortcuts. I use those in my desktop more frequently now.

I have experienced that already! Using numpad as your mouse! haha. I was just a child back then. I used numpad to use paint since I can steadily adjust lines and curves. That was fun! But I guess now that I've grown up already, I won't survive without one! Because I'm using programs that need mouse to be easily used. Good luck!

I don't know if this counts because this was in school, not work. Anyway, I have experienced using a computer without a mouse. One time in computer class when I was in high school, my trackball was not working. I don't know if you have used a trackball, it works like the old mouse with a ball under, but it's placed on the bottom of the keyboard. Anyway, it was not working so what I did was I navigated the desktop, folders, and programs usind keyboard shortcuts and so on. On that day, our lesson was on Microsoft Paint. It was amazing because without a mouse, I was able to use the numerical keypad's directional keys. These are not the arrows on the keyboard, these were the numbers with arrows on them. It was working like a mouse and I was able to draw stuff on Paint. If I am at work, I won't be able to work and I would be a frustrated worker. It's the responsibility of the company to make sure the equipment are working well so that employees can be productive, work to their full potential, and get things done as soon as possible.
